New tournament in Norfolk in September

The first-ever Norfolk Softball Tournament is designed for C-grade and D-grade teams, and will feature a Home Run Derby and friendly games on the Saturday and the official competition on Sunday, played on fenced fields and with camping nearby.

Registration open for London Regionals and Single-Sex Summer Ball

Two upcoming London-based tournaments for B-grade and C-grade teams and single-sex slowpitch teams are still accepting registrations. The London Regional Championships is an open competition, and B-grade and C-grade teams not interested in competing for a Nationals spot are very much welcome to attend.

Second Belfast Aviators Tournament looking for teams

BASIC 2011, the second Belfast Aviators Softball Invitational Competition, will be held on Saturday, August 6 at Shorts Recreation Club in Belfast, and the Aviators are looking for teams from outside Northern Ireland to play.

Last year, a torrential rainstorm washed out the final games at the BSF's League All-Star National Championships. This year, the rain was unrelenting on Sunday, but the teams mostly carried on and Scotland took home two of the three trophies.

Pioneers surge back at Diamond 2

The 2010 National Champion Pioneers, who finished 12th in the NSL/A-grade tournament at Diamond Series 1 in May, bounced back to win the competition at Diamond 2 on the weekend of June 4-5 at Farnham Park. The Muppets took the B-grade title and local team Rhythm Rascals won at C-grade.
