GB Under-15 Women suffer losses against the Czechs and Ukraine on Day 3

The Great Britain Under-15 Women’s National Team dropped their two games against the Czech Republic and Ukraine on Wednesday by scores of 30-0 and 12-1 respectively. The Czech Republic is the only team that remains undefeated in the round-robin portion of the tournament.

The GB Senior Women’s Team played a competitive game of softball on Wednesday evening for the first time in almost three years – albeit a pre-European Championship warm-up – and the result was a seamless and efficient 8-0 win against Spain.

Great Britain Under-15 Women split two games on Day Two at the Europeans

The Great Britain Under-15 Women’s team earned their first win of the European Under-15 Women’s Championship against Croatia on Tuesday by a score of 9-3. Later in the day, GB lost their game against Germany by a score of 23-3.

BSF Hall of Fame Awards presented at end of GB Women’s Team UK Camp

The GB Senior Women’s National Team finished their pre-European Championship training camp with a send-off barbecue meal at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre on Monday 18 July, and two members of the team received their BSF Hall of Fame awards during the event.

Great Britain Under-15 Women fall to France in European opener

The Great Britain Under-15 Women’s Team suffered a 17-2 setback in three innings to France on Monday in their first game at the Under-15 Women’s European Championship. With such a young team, this was the first international game experience at a European Championship for most of these athletes.

European Championship tournaments are coming thick and fast these days, and the next GB Team to play in one will be the GB Under-15 Women’s Fastpitch Team, which will take on eight other teams starting Monday at the European Under-15 Women’s Championship in Enschede in the Netherlands.

GB Slowpitch wins European Championship gold for the 12th time

It was another hard-fought and relatively low-scoring game between GB and Germany on Saturday in the final of the 2022 European Co-ed Slowpitch Championship in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but this time GB prevailed by 12-7 to win European gold for the 12th time in 13 attempts.

GB Slowpitch qualify for World Cup and will play for gold tomorrow

The GB Co-ed Slowpitch Team beat Ireland on Friday and were leading Slovenia 10-0 in the second inning when the game was abandoned due to rain at the European Co-ed Slowpitch Championship in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This was enough to clinch GB’s qualification for the inaugural WBSC Co-ed Slowpitch World Cup in 2023 and a place in the gold medal game tomorrow.
