ISF announces next two hosts for Junior Women’s World Championships

The International Softball Federation has announced that the next two Junior (Under-19) Women's World Championships will be held in 2013 in Brampton, Ontario (Canada) and in 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (USA).

ESF to run European Softball Camp for young people

The European Softball Federation will be running the first annual European Softball Camp for young players aged 13-22 from July 1-8 in Chocen, a key softball town in the Czech Republic.

Austrian team pulls out of European Slowpitch Cup

The Austrian team WBV Homerunners have made a late pull-out from the European Slowpitch Cup, scheduled for August 3-6 in the Czech Republic, which means the competition is down to the minimum, four teams.

Baseball-softball gets green light for Asian Games

The General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has set the scene for further baseball-softball discussions about a joint Olympic reinstatement bid by approving the inclusion of softball as a discipline of baseball for the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Online play-by-play and live video available for European Women’s Championships

The European Softball Federation has announced that play-by-play updates from all ESF competitions this summer will be available online, as well as live broadcasts of the final games from the 2011 European Women's Championships in Italy, where the GB Women's Team hope they will be involved.
