The Chromies have started the 2012 European Slowpitch Cup in Pardubice, Czech Republic, in dominating fashion, with a pair of five inning mercy rule wins on Tuesday over two teams that were meant to provide some of the strongest opposition.

European Slowpitch Cup kicks off on Tuesday

Play will begin on Tuesday, July 31 in the sixth annual European Slowpitch Cup, hosted in the Czech town of Pardubice, where Chromies will defend their title against seven challengers from six other European countries.

Joint CEB and ESF Congress scheduled for February 2013 in Slovenia

After a nine-year period during which the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) and the European Softball Federation (ESF) have held separate annual Congresses, the two groups are reinstituting a Joint Congress in 2013, to be held from February 15-17 in Bled, Slovenia.
