Bobcats host Charity Tournament for Birmingham Children’s Hospital

The Birmingham Bobcats Softball Club will host a Charity Softball Tournament on Saturday, 28 April from 10.00 am-6.00 pm at Hallfield School Playing Fields in Edgbaston to raise money for the Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Long-time GB Slowpitch player, captain and Assistant Coach Steve Patterson has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the GB Slowpitch Team programme after Jeremy Bedford was forced to step down earlier this year for personal reasons.

BSF sets out NSL structure for 2012

The Slovenian Softball Federation, the most slowpitch-conscious federation in Europe, is holding its second annual International Slowpitch Tournament on July 7-8 in Ljubljana, and is looking for British entries.

The 2012 Leeds Softball Tournament, scheduled for the weekend of June 23-24, will have a superb new venue this year and can offer both camping on-site or low-cost accommodation across the road at Leeds Trinity University.

Money from Mars for softball and baseball

The Mars Refuel Drink Fund, set up to encourage people to try new sports and play their favourite sport for longer, will open for entries from April 2. The fund has one gold (£1000), two silver (£500) and eight bronze (£250) awards to donate to the most deserving applicants every month for the next six months.
