Rain washed out training and a planned scrimmage game on Saturday for the GB Under-16 Girls' Fastpitch Team, but both things happened on Sunday, and now the team is waiting for the start of the 2017 European Cadette Championship on Monday morning.

GB Men are no-hit by Botswana in opener

The 2017 Men's Fastpitch World Championship in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada has not started the way the GB Men's Team had hoped, as they were no-hit over eight innings in a 1-0 loss to Botswana and pitcher Kagiso Johannes Mogale.

GB Women finally bow out of the Euros

Getting to the final at the European Women's Championship was one step too far for the GB Women's Team, as they lost 8-1 in five innings to Italy this afternoon in the penultimate game of the tournament. But the GB Team has accomplished what they came here to do.

GB Under-16s kick off with a baptism of fire

Most of the players and staff on the GB Under-16 Girls' Fastpitch Team arrived in the Czech Republic late on Friday night, started to get to know each other Saturday morning, and then trained and played a scrimmage game with the tournament favourites Holland in the afternoon.

Twenty teams took to the field at Clifton College Sports Ground for the Bristol Main Tournament on the weekend of 1-2 July on a beautiful weekend of sunshine with a cool breeze and temperatures around 23 degrees on Sunday.

Thirty teams get ready for the 2017 Single-Sex Slowpitch Nationals

A total of 20 men's teams and 10 women's teams will contest the British Softball Federation's 2017 Single-Sex Slowpitch National Championships on the weekend of 8-9 July at the Moor Lane Sports Ground in Perry Barr, Birmingham.

In a magnificent nine-inning pitcher's duel between Veronika Peckova of the Czech Republic and GB's Georgina Corrick, full of twists, turns and unbearable tension, it was Peckova who finally cracked first and the GB Women who are going to the 2018 World Championship in Japan.

GB Women reach Final Four at the Euros

Rescheduling due to weather forced the GB Women's Team to play three games on Thursday at the European Women's Championship and two them were losses. But GB has still managed to gain a Final Four place and a chance at a medal.

Groups revealed for U-19 World Championship

The World Baseball and Softball Confederation has revealed the initial round-robin pools and the schedule for the 12th Junior Women's World Championship, to be played in Clearwater, Florida from 24-30 July.
