ESF Congress plans new development spending

The annual European Softball Federation Congress was held on 14-15 February at the Grand Majestic Hotel in Prague, and turned out to be a swift and fairly routine affair. After Commission sessions and discussions on Friday, the plenary session on Saturday took less than an hour.

2013 was the first season for the new Birmingham Softball League (BSL) and while it was hard work for those doing the organisation, with inevitable teething problems and a team folding half way through the season, the league managed to run successfully for 15 weeks.

GB Slowpitch shut down in World Cup final

The GB Slowpitch Team will be bringing a silver medal home from the ISF Slowpitch World Cup that ended in Plant City, Florida on Sunday 26 January, rather than the hoped-for gold. The GB offense was shut down in the final by the USA Ink Daddyz, who were 18-3 winners.
