BSF celebrates record Single-Sex Nationals

Records were broken at the BSF's 2014 Single-Sex Slowpitch National Championships on the weekend of 12-13 July in Birmingham, with 34 teams and eight title winners making it the Federation's largest-ever Nationals.

BSF Nationals Working Group makes progress

The idea of a BSF Nationals Working Group was first mooted at the 2013 BSF AGM, and volunteers representing a cross-section of softball were invited to take part. The group finally met on Saturday 11 January 2014 in London, and began to set out a vision for softball's National Championships.

Chromies win another Premier Nationals title

Chromies swept to their fifth title in the past eight years at the BSF's Co-ed Slowpitch Premier National Championships on a beautiful late summer weekend on 31 August-1 September at Farnham Park. Chromies defeated perennial contenders H2O 18-11 in a final in which a record nine home runs went soaring over the outfield fence.

H2O seeking elusive Premier Nationals win

If there was ever a prize for consistency, the A-grade co-ed slowpitch team H2O would surely win the accolade for their performances over the past few seasons. But consistency doesn't necessarily win you the National Championship, a prize that H2O has never managed to claim.

Co-ed National titles spread across the South

The BSF's Co-ed National Championships for league teams was held at Farnham Park on the weekend of August 10-11, and the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze titles were spread across four different leagues from the south of England.
