    Former International Softball Federation (ISF) President and World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Co-President Don Porter, who played a pivotal role in getting softball into the Olympic Games, died on Sunday 7 June aged 90 at his home in Oklahoma City.

    The GB Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Team fought hard but could not overcome a six-run rally by Israel in the second inning of their playoff game Saturday at the European Under-18 Men’s Qualifier in Israel, and the 8-1 loss in five innings put GB out of the tournament.

    After completing their round-robin games on Friday at the European Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Qualifier at Kibbutz Gezer, Israel, the GB Under-18s are looking forward to Saturday’s playoffs, where they will still have a chance to qualify for next year’s World Cup.
