The British Softball Federation is asking members to please take a minute to vote for softball and baseball to be restored to the Olympic programme in Los Angeles in 2028 in a poll being conducted by influential website magazine Inside the Games.

The poll -- which can be accessed here -- https://www.insidethegames.biz/polls/227/which-of-these-sports-would-you-most-like-to-see-added-to-the-la-2028-programme#.YvYVBDyQvTk.whatsapp, is asking which of nine sports you would most like to see added to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, with Baseball/Softball as one of nine choices.

Votes can be cast on a daily basis.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) is leading the fight to have softball and baseball restored to the Olympics in 2028 and beyond -- hopefully on a permanent basis -- and is encouraging members in National Federations around the world to vote in this poll.

Olympic status and participation is particularly important for softball, and is the basis on which UK Sport is currently funding the GB Senior Women's Teamm in its quest to qualify for and medal at the Los Angeles Olympics.  But the participation of Baseball/Softball in the Los Angeles Games is still to be confirmed, and this poll, if it can show high levels of support for our sports, can help.
