Through the MLB First Pitch programme, MLB wants to introduce baseball to young people across the UK, giving them an opportunity to try a new sport, learn the fundamentals of baseball and, most of all, have fun playing! This summer, MLB First Pitch programme will be introduced to over 400 primary schools across the country.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help MLB and BaseballSoftballUK provide an unforgettable moment for children in Cardiff, London, and Sheffield this June.

Our MLB First Pitch Festivals will be a celebration of baseball, with young people coming together to have fun, play ball, and mark Major League Baseball’s return to the United Kingdom.

Volunteers are required to support the activity stations, which will engage the children in fundamental baseball skill activities, and to assist the general running of each festival.

The festivals will take place in the following locations (times subject to change):

As a thank you, MLB First Pitch Festival volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and an invitation to the 2023 MLB London Series Workout Day on Friday 23 June.
