The British Softball Federation would like to thank Beccy Adams for her work as Team Operations Manager for the GB U18 men’s team.
Beccy would like to personally thank all those who have promoted, coached, and supported the players, and all those who have helped her in her role as TOM, over the last 2 years.
Beccy was particularly crucial in GB’s run to the bronze medal game in the 2023 U18 European Championship, the best performance to date by a GB U18 men’s team. She looks back with pride at that tour’s success, the way the team performed, and standing on the field as the national anthems were played before that bronze medal game.
Sadly, Beccy’s situation has changed and she no longer feels she has the time necessary to devote to the needs of the rest of the staff, the players, and the program as a whole. The GB Men’s Program and the BSF wishes Beccy all the best with her future, and thanks her for all she has done.

The role of Team Operation Manager is an administrative role. Knowledge of Fastpitch Softball would be helpful but is certainly not necessary. However, administrative and organisational experience is important.
Tasks that would fall under the TOM’s preview include but are not limited to:
- Booking hotels and travel for tours
- Organising player applications and communications
- Organising training sessions, booking facilities, and managing staff
- Organising player information in preparation for tours
- Working with the Head Coach and other staff on administrative issues relating to the program
- Working with other TOMs in the program
- Representing the GB U18s men’s team at monthly GBMC (Great Britain Management Committee) meetings
All applications will be assessed and then if suitable interviews will follow before a new TOM is hired.
