It was another very competitive day at the 2018 Spring Cotswold Tournament, played on Sunday 17 June at Archway School in Stroud, Gloucestershire, with 12 teams competing from the Southwest, the Midlands and Wales.

Except for a few sprinkles in the middle of the day, the forecast rain stayed away.

Tiebreaks were needed to separate teams in Pool A during the round-robin phase of the tournament and later in the Plate Playoff group.

The Swindon Panthers emerged as Tournament Champions, defeating the Bristol Bees in the final, while the Plate Champions were Archway Thunder, who prevailed over the Bristol Greasy Mitts.

The tournament began with the teams divided into three groups of four for an initial round-robin, followed by playoffs with four groups of three.

Tournament MVPs were Alice Turner from the Cardiff Whales and Joe Wright from Archway Lightning.  The Spirit of the Game award went to the Cardiff Cardinals.
