Over the past weekend, the British Softball Federation was made aware of an issue with team registration for the Great Britain Under-15 Women’s National Team prior to competing at the European Under-15 Women’s Championship this week in Enschede, Netherlands. Due to a clerical error on the part of the BSF, the full roster of players was not accurately registered by the competition deadline.
Following discussions with WBSC Europe officials, the Great Britain Under-15 Team will be able to play all their games this week as scheduled; however, the team will forfeit each game in the official standings.
The British Softball Federation would like to sincerely apologise to the team, the coaching staff, and the friends, families and fans of those participating for this error.
