The final of the 2012 London Charity Softball League playoffs was played on recently in Hyde Park, and the St John's Ambulance Badgers came from behind in the final inning to edge out the National Deaf Children's Society by a score of 8-7 and were duly crowned as LCSL Cup Champions.

In one of the closest finals in Charity League history, the Badgers secured the two runs they needed in the bottom of the fifth and final inning of the game.

The London Charity Softball League is now the largest softball league in the UK, with 63 teams participating in the 2012 season.
