Four of the twelve teams in the BBF’s National Softball League 2 played in the East Midlands Labor Day Tournament on the weekend of 23-24 July in Leicester – but the results, once again, did not produce much change in the standings.

The four teams to compete, and their records on the day, were:

Dodgers (6-2)
KKs (6-2)
Mavericks (3-4)
Maidenhead Royals (2-6)

The results mean that the NSL 2 standings, with just the Manchester Tournament on 30-31 July and Diamond Series 3 on 6-7 August still to come as qualifying events, looks like this:

The top six teams in the final standings will receive places in the Platinum National Championships, to be played at Farnham Park on the weekend of 13-14 August.
