BaseballSoftballUK has announced a new safeguarding training course, Safe on Base, which replaces the Time to Listen training that has been delivered for many years.

Safe on Base is specific to baseball and softball, making it more relevant, and it counts as Level 2 training aimed at Safeguarding Officers and youth team coaches.

BSUK will be running these courses in the new year and they will be FREE for all registered Federation (BBF/BSF) and Chartered Members.

Course dates

The virtual courses will be held on Zoom on the following dates (all courses 6-9 pm):

Monday 22 January 2024
Tuesday 27 February 2024
Tuesday 19 March 2024
Monday 15 April 2024

Reservations

Space is limited for each of the sessions, so if you wish to attend please reserve your place and get full details here.

Please attend the session that you register for: BSUK has had a number of no-shows in previous years that impacted the quality of the training. If you are unable to make your session, please let BSUK know at least 24 hours prior by contacting Mark Caress.

Please note:  If you have previously attended a Time to Listen course you do not need to also complete the new Safe On Base course.  Your Time to Listen training is valid until it expires (safeguarding courses are valid for three years, then a refresher course is required to bring you back up to speed, but the refresher course can be done online).
