We are very please to announce a new Member of the Athletes Commission, Matt Perkins.
Matt says:
I started playing softball at the university of Portsmouth having never played before. I really enjoyed playing university softball and played in numerous tournaments and in the Solent League.
I have continued to play softball in the Solent Softball League for the Solent Sluggers.
I have also helped form the NSL team the Southern Stormers which brought together players that played across university teams.
I am now the captain of the Southern Stormers and really enjoy leading the team in NSL.
Matt will work along side Tim Bishop and the other AC's to support players feedback getting direct to the BSF and turn their comments into actions to improve the softball experience.
