The 2026 Co-ed Nationals played over a scorching August weekend at Farnham Park. 23 teams from across the country  fought it out in the four competition categories, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Eight teams from the higher divisions in their Leagues played to discover who would play for the Platinum and Gold titles, while the remaining 15 played in two groups to determine who played for Silver and Bronze.

Platinum/Gold

After the round robin was complete teams, the top 4 played for the Platinum title and the bottom 4 for the Gold.

MI6 (London) – Platinum winners

“MI6 opened League Nationals in a tough way by losing our first game to Manchester Thunder, however we recovered to finish Saturday 4-1. A Sunday draw with Maidenhead and a defeat to Mescalitos dropped us to third, setting up a semi-final against the side that had just beaten us. We came through 15-13, but only just — Mescalitos had runners on with two outs in the last, enough to tie it, before we made the final out and left them stranded.

The final was a different story. We were in control from the first inning and never let go, running out 16-6 winners against the same Manchester side that beat us on Saturday morning. Back-to-back Platinum national champions after 2025, the team couldn’t be prouder to claim the title and represent the London League. Huge thanks to the organisers, umpires and everyone else involved in an amazing weekend”

Pyros (East Midlands) – Gold winners

Silver / Bronze

Teams were split into two groups and played a round-robiin set of games. After completion the top 4 in each group competed for the Silver title and the remaining teams for the Bronze

Hurricanes (Cardiff) - Silver winners

Saturday began with back to back wins against Rebels and Asteroids featuring strong batting performances. Following this a was a very friendly game against fellow Cardiffians, The Red Dragons, in which Hurricanes ran out winners. However, the day ended with defeats by Base Cadets and Dodgers in which the bats didn’t really get going.

Sunday saw a return to form, Hurricanes scoring 36 runs in the final group match against Stingers. 3rd place seeding meant a tough route to the final, beginning with a nail biting 8-7 win against Bangers & Smash, and followed by a comfortable win over Dodgers. High quality opposition in the form of The Spitfires awaited in the final. However, after taking a first innings lead, with the trophy within their grasp, Hurricanes held out for a 12-6 victory, making it past that final hurdle which they’d fallen at in 2025.

Tigers (East Midlands) – Bronze winners
