Four NSL 2 teams -- Ninos Privados, Warriors, Royals and KKs -- played at the British Airways Tournament on the weekend of 18-19 June at the Heston Veuue in Cranford, but two Manchester teams, the Outlaws and Dodgers, remain on top of the NSL 2 standings by virtue of winning percentage.
Unlike NSL 1, where teams play league games in only three tournaments, there are still several tournaments to come in which NSL 2 teams can build up results, so the league standings are likely to change.
But with only six of the 11 teams guaranteed places in the Platinum Nationals on 13-14 August, the NSL 2 standings currently look like this:
TEAMS | PLAYED | WON | DRAWN | LOST | WIN % | WINS + DRAWS |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Outlaws | 5 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 1.000 | 5 |
Dodgers | 12 | 11 | 0 | 1 | .917 | 11 |
