A Slowpitch Softball Mini-League aimed at complete beginners among LGBT groups in the Manchester area is now under way, with one evening gone and two more to come.  The league is being jointly presented by BaseballSoftballUK and Pride Sports, and the winning team at the end of the series will collect a £250 prize.

The league held its first session at Parrs Wood High School in Didbury on Monday, April 23, and two more sessions are planned for Monday, May 14 and Monday, June 11, both starting at 7.00 pm.  Anyone is welcome to turn up for the two evenings still to come.

The Mini-League is three evenings of fun, along with the chance to try a new sport where men and women play together in the same team in equal numbers.

At the end of the final session, the winning team will take home £250, and £200 will be awarded to the team that has demonstrated the best sense of fair play.
