A major European slowpitch tournament, featuring men's, women's and co-ed divisions, will be held in the Netherlands at Almere, near Amsterdam, from Friday 3 July through Sunday 5 July 2015.
The second Windmill Classic, with places for 32 teams (but 16 are already gone) is being billed as an Open European Slowpitch Championship. In addition to the tournament itself, with round-robin followed by double-elimination playoffs in each division, there will be a Home Run Derby, a Europe v US All-Star Game, a beer tent, a live band and a fireworks show.
The tournament will be held at the grounds of the BSC Almere 90 baseball and softball club, and will be used to raise money for a local cancer ward.
