The Great Britain Management Committee for Softball is excited to announce an exciting opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. We are seeking three new executive members to help shape the future of softball in Great Britain. This is your chance to contribute to the strategic direction and success of our national softball program.
About the Roles
As an executive member of the Great Britain Management Committee, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development and implementation of policies and strategies that enhance the performance and growth of softball in the country. You will collaborate with other committee members to oversee various aspects of the sport, including competition planning, athlete development, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the advancement of softball in Great Britain.
- Provide oversight and direction for national programs and initiatives.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, and sponsors.
- Ensure governance and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Advocate for the sport at national and international levels.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- A deep understanding and passion for softball.
- Experience in sports management, administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Important Eligibility Criteria
Current GB Staff Members: Applications will not be accepted from individuals who are currently employed by the Great Britain Softball organization.
Current GB Athletes: Athletes who are currently representing Great Britain may be considered for these roles. However, they will be expected to recuse themselves from any discussions or decisions related to staff recruitment or team selection processes that could present a conflict of interest.
