The final weekend of play decided the promotion / demotion spots and who would get to the Nationals Championships.

NSL 1

Three of the top 4 (H2O, Pioneers & Legends) at the start of the day had completed their matches and H2O could not be caught. All teams had 4 remaining NSL League matches left to play and 2nd place Knights won 3 of these matches and retained runner-up spot. The Mob sitting in 5th place could jump to 4th leapfrogging Legends if they won all their matches which they did so their highest finishing place yet for them. There was also the battle for the last place at Nationals. Tigers & Dodgers traded places throughout the final matches before Dodgers lost their final league match and Tigers beating an on fire Knights to claim the final place going ahead on RA after each winning one of their league matches. Tempest already relegated though the Honey Badgers needed wins to remain in the top flight but failed to win any.

NSL 2

Meerkats & Storm started the weekend top of the table and ended up in the same spots with LNZ pushing them all the way. Storm were new to NSL 2 having won NSL3 last season, Meerkats came close last year just losing out to Tempest & Badgers.  Shafting & Mavericks spent most of the season in the relegation zone. Shafting were promoted to NSL 2 last year, Mavericks one of the original NSL teams had been demoted to NSL 2 in 2022.  Terriers & KKs traded places for the final Nationals place all weekend with Terriers claiming the spot.

NSL 3

Very competitive with lots to play for in this division:

3A – Cardiff, who were sitting sixth at the start, pulled off a massive 7 wins, 1 loss to make them not only safe but also able to grab an unexpected spot at Nationals in their first season of NSL. Rob (Cardiff) was absolutely delighted  “We have thoroughly enjoyed our first season at NSL and this weekend it all came together for the first time - we need all those wins to stay up.”

SPAM & Manchester Dodgers spent all weekend bouncing between sixth (safe) and seventh (relegated out) but Dodgers with a 5W & 3L record and the H2H over SPAM (2W 6L) waited on baited breath for the final match between Game of Throws (needing a win to take them to Nationals) and SPAM (needing a win to remain in the NSL). GOT won a close fought match 14 – 11 sending SPAM out.

3B - Fuzzy Ducks, who had been relegated last season, spent all of 2025 on top of their division and will go back up to NSL 2 for 2026. Bristol Bees narrowly missed relegation last season but played fantastically, ending up as runner-up. GOT (6-2-0) & Cobras (5-2-1) both grabbed precious National places. The relegation zone was a bit more clear cut with Camels winning only 1 match all season and Sharks needing to pile on the wins to try to stay up- with 2 wins in May & June they managed another 3 wins but remained in the relegation spot.
