With Kevin Stockford, Head Coach for the GB Men’s Fastpitch Team, based in Denmark, the team is seeking a UK-based Assistant Coach who can work more regularly with players in the UK.

The successful applicant will be asked to scout for potential new players, liaising on a regular basis with the GB Under-19 Men’s Team staff, and will work with GB Men’s Team Manager Lee Grafton to organise training sessions for GB Men’s Team players in Britain.  As an Assistant Coach with GB Men’s Team, the successful applicant with need to keep in regular touch with Kevin Stockford throughout the year.

The GB Men’s Fastpitch Team is currently ranked fifth in Europe and competes in European and World Championship tournaments in alternate years.  In 2018, the team will compete in the European Men’s Fastpitch Championship from 25-30 June in the Czech Republic, and there will be a training camp preceding the tournament.

All staff positions on GB National Teams are voluntary; no one is paid a salary or fee.  However, costs for staff members are covered when a national team goes abroad for competition, and some expenses connected with training and competition in the UK can be claimed if necessary.
