The GB Men’s Fastpitch programme is pleased to announce the extended squads for both the Senior Men’s and U23 teams. The squads will train together over the winter as they build towards the 2027 European Championships.
Following the initial trials at Farnham Park on 10th and 11th October 2026, and a review of the additional evidence submitted by players who could not attend in person, the selectors have named the players below. We thank everyone who applied and attended. The standard of applications was high, and the selection decisions were not easy.
The Senior Men’s team will compete at the European Championships in Prague from 10th to 18th July 2027. The U23 team will compete at their European Championships in Havlíčkův Brod, Czechia, from 23rd to 28th August 2027.

“An exciting 9 months lays ahead of us as the talent and athleticism of our players coming through the age groups now is testiment to the efforts and commitment of the coaches, back ground staff and the players themselves who have laid the foundations for our mens program. The continued growth from U16 through to the senior mens has enabled us to have our largest ever pool of players to choose our two senior teams since the program began.
As our chosen extended squads head indoors to train over the winter, the focus is entirely on sharpening our execution and building on this momentum. There is a real hunger in the u23 group, and putting in the hard work now ensures we will be in the best possible position when we step onto the diamond for next year's tournaments”
