There are six Great Britain Fastpitch National Teams playing in official European or World Championships at different age levels from Under-13 to Senior, and some of these teams are looking for help.
The GB Under-13 Girls’ Development Team is looking for a Head Coach and the GB Under-16 Girls’ Team is looking for a Team Manager. These posts offer an exciting opportunity to help our best young players realise their potential and provide the chance to travel to other countries and experience the excitement of international competition.
All of the GB Youth Teams – Under-13 Girls, Under-16 Girls, Under-19 Women and Under-19 Men – are looking for people with some fastpitch experience to help coach at training sessions in the UK over the winter and especially next spring, before teams travel to competitions overseas. People who help out at training sessions in the UK may also get the chance to travel overseas with a team as Assistant Coaches, but ability to travel is not a requirement.
Finally, most GB Teams are looking for people interested in travelling overseas with them as volunteer Team Cooks. GB Teams are increasingly finding that taking a Team Cook with them can save money, provide a better diet for players and give them more flexibility regarding meal times and arrangements when overseas. All expenses for a Team Cook will be covered.
