SUMMARY: Jazzy Francik owned the circle all game long, allowing a lone baserunner in a 5-inning, no hit performance against Peru as Great Britain tallied their first win of the Softball World Cup 7-0. Great Britain’s offense, sparked by Tia Warsop, had nine hits, with Jahni Kerr driving in a pair of runs.
The game changed when...Miss Francik stepped into the circle. With her team playing flawless defense behind her, and her offense scoring early and often, Francik was unstoppable on a muggy Peruvian afternoon. clean and the bats were hot around her and all shined on the field together.
Great Britain’s top performer was Jazzy, having thrown her fourth no-hitter of this year, and the first of the 2026 WBSC Softball World CupGroup Stages.
