The first of two
open trials for selection to GB Under-19 and Under-16 youth fastpitch teams for 2013 competitions will be held as part of the Academy Softball and GB training sessions scheduled for Saturday, 8 December and moved from Milton Keynes to Uxbridge because of the unavailability of the Dome at Milton Keynes.
A second trial will be held on Sunday, 10 February 2013 at Milton Keynes.
To be eligible for selection, GB-based players must attend at least one of the two trials.
December trial
The 8 December trial will be part of the GB training session scheduled from 3.00-6.00 pm at Uxbridge College on the outskirts of London, following the Academy Softball session that will be held from 12.00-3.00 pm. The venue is:

February trial
The second trial opportunity, on Sunday, 10 February, will be part of the GB training session scheduled for 1.30 to 5.00 pm on that day at the Dome in Milton Keynes.
Competitions
Next summer, the GB Under-19 Women's Team will be competing in ISF Junior World Championships in Canada, while the GB Under-19 Men and GB Under-16 Girls will be competing in European Championships in Denmark and the Czech Republic respectively.
In order for GB-based players to be considered for selection to any of these squads, they must attend at least one – and preferably both – trial dates. The trials are open to all players in the relevant age groups, regardless of whether they are currently members of Academy Softball or are part of a GB programme.
Trial dates for GB Under-13s, who will compete in the second ESF Massimo Romeo Youth Cup next summer in Italy, will be held separately and announced soon.
