The weather's getting warmer, the evenings are getting lighter -- it must be softball time again !
The East Midlands Softball League will be holding its annual Firstball Tournament on Sunday April 1 at the University of Nottingham. This competition is a great pre-season warm-up for teams C+ to D-grade teams to dust off their gloves as they come out of softball hibernation.
Interest this year has been so good that what was just a six- team competition only a few years ago has now swelled to 16 places this year
and just one place is left at the bargain price of just £70 for a guaranteed four games.
If travelling from outside the East Midlands we'll ensure you get a 10.00 am start, to ensure you don't have to get up quite so early.
