The 2011 edition of the annual Cotswold Autumn Tournament, played at Archway School in Stroud, Gloucestershire on Sunday, October 2, was blessed with what organiser Mike Le Fevre called "the best weather ever" and provided plenty of exciting softball for the ten teams in attendance.

Results

The winning teams and individuals were:

Champion: Bristol Crushers
Runner-up: Bristol Grand Balls

Plate Champion: The Phoenix
Plate Runner-up: Birmingham Bobcats

Female MVP: Caz Shaw (The Phoenix)
Male MVP: Sean Curtis (Leeds Terriers)

Spirit of the Game Award: Milton Keynes Diamonds

Close encounters

The games that decided the Trophy and Plate Champions were both one run affairs.

Bristol Crushers defeated the Bristol Grand Balls 7-6 to win the main tournament title, and The Phoenix won the Plate in an 8-7 thriller over the Birmingham Bobcats.

The third place playoff was yet another close affair, as the Mad Hatters beat the Leeds Terriers by 12-11.
