Two three-hour modular courses for slowpitch coaches and players – one on slowpitch pitching and the other on drills for beginning coaches -- will be delivered on the afternoon of Saturday 23 March in Manchester.

The module on slowpitch pitching will run from noon to 3.00 pm, and the module on drills will run from 3.30-6.30 pm.  Both will be delivered by GB Slowpitch pitcher and Assistant Coach David Lee at Powerleague Trafford, Trafford Way, Stretford, Manchester M17 8DD.

The cost to attend each module will be £35.


Course content

The three-hour pitching module is aimed at both new and experienced slowpitch pitchers as well as any other coaches or players who want to attend, and will cover all aspects of pitching including different grips, pitches and pitching styles as well as strategy and fielding as a pitcher.

The module for coaches wishing to increase their repertoire of drills will cover infield, outfield and batting drills adaptable for indoor and outdoor environments.
