BSUK has produced a Guide to Local and Social Media, written by Michael Jones of Redbacks Baseball & Softball, to help leagues, clubs and teams recruit and retain players and volunteers and promote the sports across the UK.

This comprehensive document provides a how-to guide to the use of websites, social media, newsletters, leaflets, emails and traditional print and broadcast media to gain publicity and engage new members.  There are also helpful ideas on looking for sponsorship and grant funding and measuring your communications impact.

Finally, the Guide presents a section on how to create press releases for baseball and softball to give you the best chance that they will be used by your local media.
