Pyros, Legendairys, Bratz, Cowabungas and TV Sisters crowned BSF Single Sex Softball Champions at Manchester’s Wythenshawe university pitches, finishing off a great weekend of play on 14 -15 June. 

Men’s Gold Comp 

In the Men’s competitive division 7 teams played each other with the top 4 advancing to the semi-finals portion of the competition.

The final four in the Men’s Standings: Pyros, Guzzlers, Greensox and Stags went on to play a further round robin with the top 2 going to the final.  The bottom 3 played a round robin to determine their final placings.

Men’s Gold Final

The finals featured Pyros (East Midlands) and Greensox (Manchester), with Pyros taking the win.

Women’s Gold Comp 

In the Women’s competitive portion of the competition, 6 teams competed in a round robin followed by a split into two groups - seeds 1, 4 & 6 were Group A and seeds 2, 3 & 5 were Group B- playing a further round robin.

 

All teams went into the play-off section with seeds 1 from each group straight to the semi-finals.

Mens Silver

In the Men’s REC portion of the competition five teams played a double round robin; Legendairies (Jersey) went unbeaten and Cardiff joined them in the final

In the final, it was the favourites Legendairies (Jersey) who took the title, winning 25-3 over Cardiff.

Women’s Silver & Bronze 

In the Women’s REC portion of the competition, 8 teams competed with the top four playing for Silver and the bottom four for Bronze.
