The BSF Executive held a conference call meeting on the evening of Wednesday, 3 October.  Below are highlights of discussions and decisions.

Because the Executive is having its annual face-to-face meeting on the weekend of 20-21 October in Slough, this meeting was relatively brief.

Present:  Stella Ackrell (President), Mike Jennings (Treasurer), Vicky Hall (Administrative Officer), Liz Graham (Tournaments Officer), Mark Wigington (Marketing Officer), Chris Moon (BASU Representative), Beth Perkins (General Officer).

Apologies:  Julie Calver (Website Officer).

Commonwealth Games meeting

BSF President Stella Ackrell and Treasurer Mike Jennings have been invited to attend a Commonwealth Games 2014 meeting in London on 10 October.

BSF Executive roles

Stella Ackrell and Mike Jennings will be meeting during the next two weeks to draft role profiles for members of the BSF Executive.

These will be considered by the full Executive at the weekend meeting on 20-21 October.

BSF affiliation

Mike Jennings and retiring BSF Tournaments Officer Lesley Morisetti, who has also functioned as the Federation's Membership Officer, will discuss numbers and playing levels of BSF-affiliated teams and leagues so that a clear picture of current membership can be presented at the upcoming weekend meeting.
