The AGM Pack for the 2014 British Softball Federation AGM, plus Draft Accounts for 2013, are now available to download from this website.
The BSF AGM will be held on Saturday 22 February at the Hough End Centre in Manchester (details and directions are in the AGM Pack). Registration will begin at 11:00 am.
Attendance requirements
All members of BSF-affiliated teams are invited to attend the AGM, but the following are required to attend:
1) All leagues that wish to have a team or teams from their league compete in National Championships in 2014.
2) All National Softball League (NSL), Platinum and Gold teams that wish to play in the 2014 Co-ed Slowpitch National Championships. Silver and Bronze teams may be represented through attendance by their League Head.
Morning workshops
This year, there are two morning workshops before the formal AGM, which will begin at 2.00 pm.
The first, from 11.45 am-12.30 pm, is on “Sports Engagement and New Media”, and will be delivered by Mark Bradley from The Fan Experience Company. Mark will speak on how to effectively consult and engage with club members and fans and how to use social media as a strategic growth tool for sports clubs. We encourage you to come and hear Mark's insights.
The second workshop, from 12.45-13.15 pm, will review the slowpitch coaching initiative conducted last summer by two high-level American coaches and look at future coaching projects for slowpitch community.
