Two Bristol teams contested the final at the Cotswold Autumn Tournament, played in fine weather on Sunday, October 7 at Archway School in Stroud, and it was the Bristol Crushers, who were undefeated on the day, who prevailed over the Bristol Phoenix to take the title.
 

Winners

Ten teams took part in the tournament from as far afield as London, Birmingham and Milton Keynes, and medals were awarded as follows:

Champion:  Bristol Crushers
Runner-up:  Bristol Phoenix

Plate Champion:  Birmingham Bobcats
Plate Runner-up:  Bristol Lucky Strikes

MVPs:  Chris Bora (MK Diamonds) and Mel Colzie (Bristol Grandslammers).
 

Results

The Championship game was a one-sided affair, with the Crushers trampling the Phoenix by a score of 10-1.  But the Plate Championship game was much closer, with the Birmingham Bobcats edging the Bristol Lucky Strikes 4-3.

In the Third Place Playoff, Bristol Grandslammers beat the MK Diamonds 18-0; the Mad Hatters defeated the Vodaphone Heat 10-2 in the Fourth Place Playoff; and in the Fifth Place Playoff, the Rockets saw off the London Raiders by 5-2.

The Spirit of the Game award went to the Birmingham Bobcats for their positive attitude throughout the tournament.
