GB Women look forward to World Cup after the Royal Spark Challenge

The GB Senior Women’s Fastpitch Team flew from the UK to Ireland on Sunday 9 July for the WBSC Women’s World Cup Group A tournament in Balbriggan, north of Dublin, having warmed up with a landmark two-game series at Farnham Park on 6 and 7 July against the US pro team Oklahoma City Spark.

The Great Britain Under-18 and Under-16 Men’s Fastpitch Teams both played in bronze medal games on Saturday 8 July in their European Championships in Czechia, and though both teams lost, they put in their best performances of the week.

Both the GB Under-18 and Under-16 Men’s Fastpitch Teams came up empty yesterday in their European Championships in Sezimovo Usti in Czechia, as the GB Under-18s lost to Israel and Czechia and the GB Under-16s went down to Denmark.

GB Under-17 Women’s Team sets off for the Canada Cup

A GB Under-17 Women’s Fastpitch Team, an age group put together specifically to compete in the Under-17 Gold Division in the prestigious Canada Cup, will set off for Vancouver on Saturday 8 July, where they will play a range of US and Canadian travel balls teams from 10-16 July.

GB Under-18 Men score an emphatic win at the European Championship

Both the GB Under-18 and Under-16 Men’s Fastpitch Teams were back in action today at their concurrent European Championships in Sezimovo Usti in Czechia, and it was the Under-18 Men who broke through with an emphatic 20-9 mercy rule win over Croatia.
