Tryouts for Great Britain National Teams
There are 11 national softball teams that represent Great Britain in international competition across different age groups, genders and formats.
GB Women's Fastpitch
The Great Britain Women's Fastpitch Team programme includes the following teams:
- GB Senior Women's Team
- GB Under-22 Women's Team
- GB Under-18 Women's Team
- GB Under-15 Women's Team
- GB Cubs Under-13 Girls' Team
Players based in the UK or overseas who wish to try out for one or more of these teams should start the process by completing and submitting a Women's Fastpitch Athlete Application Form on this link: https://forms.gle/zzkJSDNGy7nidobV7
Applications can be made at any time, but should ideally be submitted before or during January of the competition year in question. Athletes will generally be invited to trial in January or February (either in person or by submitting quantitative and video evidence), with selections being made in March for competitions in the summer or later in the year.
GB Men's Fastpitch
The Great Britain Men's Fastpitch Team programme includes the following teams:

- GB Under-23 Men's Team
- GB Under-18 Men's Team
- GB Under-16 Men's Team

Applications can be made at any time, but should ideally be submitted before or during January of the competition year in question. Athletes will generally be invited to trial in January or February (either in person or by submitting quantitative and video evidence), with selections being made in March for competitions in the summer or later in the year.
GB Slowpitch
The Great Britain Slowpitch Team programme includes the following teams:
- GB Senior Co-ed Slowpitch Team
- GB Senior Men's Slowpitch Team
Players based in the UK or overseas who wish to try out for one or more of these teams should start the process by contacting GB Slowpitch Team Manager Kellie Whitaker.
Applications can be made at any time, but ideally you should contact Kellie Whitaker before or during January of the competition year in question. Athletes will generally be invited to trial in January or February (either in person or by submitting quantitative and video evidence), with selections being made in April for competitions in the summer or later in the year.
