About the event:
Following nearly a decade of hard work and persistence, softball (and baseball) were finally added to the BUCS University Sports Competition in Autumn 2021, which means that our sports were able to take their place alongside such well-established university sports as rugby union, football, hockey and netball.
Seventeen university softball teams have entered this year's competition, which will be split over four regional divisions. After four central venue events (two indoor and two outdoor), the 12 best-placed teams will qualify for the Championship Finals, to be played over two days at Farnham Park in March 2022.
