    GB U-18 Men bow out of European Qualifier

    The GB Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Team fought hard but could not overcome a six-run rally by Israel in the second inning of their playoff game Saturday at the European Under-18 Men’s Qualifier in Israel, and the 8-1 loss in five innings put GB out of the tournament.

    After completing their round-robin games on Friday at the European Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Qualifier at Kibbutz Gezer, Israel, the GB Under-18s are looking forward to Saturday’s playoffs, where they will still have a chance to qualify for next year’s World Cup.

    The GB Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Team suffered two more defeats on Thursday at the ESF’s Under-18 Men’s Qualifier, but the new and inexperienced team continued to show encouraging signs of progress.

    London Indoor Softball returns Saturday!

    Indoor Softball operates with a different set of rules than regular softball, designed to make the game fast paced and accessible to all levels of skill. All games are inclusive and mixed gender, with each match lasting 20 minutes or two full innings, whichever comes first. Each half inning is only five minutes long, making play fast paced, but there’s no limit on the number of batters – your team can score as many runs as possible within the time limit!

    Manchester Indoor Softball returns with record number of teams

    With the largest-ever number of participating teams at 19, the two divisions will compete every Tuesday night from 7.00-9.00 pm at Fives Trafford in Greater Manchester. Teams play super-quick six-minute innings, and each game is just one inning long.  Players face just one pitch per at-bat, making for a very fast-paced cardio workout.

    On Saturday 21st September, around 40 female and non-binary players joined in a day of relaxed practice and games of softball in blazing sunshine in North London’s Clissold Park.

    Final line-up announced for Olympic softball

    Australia defeated China by a score of 9-3 on Sunday 29 September in the final of the Asia/Oceania Olympic Softball Qualifier to complete the line-up of teams that will compete in the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo next summer.
