Beginners' sessions designed to attract new players to slowpitch softball will be run indoors on Tuesday evenings in Nottingham, starting in October 11.

The sessions, run by Harvey Pryor and Ross Jameson from the East Midlands Softball League, will be held from 8.30-9.30 pm on six Tuesday evenings from October 11 through November 15 at the Bilborough Sports Centre, Bilborough College, Bilborough Road, Bilborough NG8 4DQ.

Cost to participants for the six sessions will be only £15.

Learning a new sport

The sessions are suitable for complete beginners, so if you haven't played sport since school, need a refresher course in softball or just want to try something new, the sessions will enable you to:

-- Learn new techniques and skills each week.
-- Develop your ability gradually with support from qualified coaches.
-- Improve your fitness levels.
-- Make new friends, have fun and feel good about yourself.
