The second annual European Slowpitch Series will be played on the weekend of September 15-16 in Linz, Austria, featuring both US military teams and European teams from Austria, Slovenia and Germany.
The tournament is yet another indication of how slowpitch is steadily taking hold in Europe. Players from the USA, Latin America and a variety of European countries will all take part.
This year, the tournament will be split into A and B divisions to ensure more competitive play. Group A will be dominated by the US base teams while Group B will be a balanced group of European teams.
