Chichester Falcons Softball Club will be reviving its Chichester Junior Fastpitch Tournament this year, and is planning to hold the co-ed event, aimed at 13-16-year-olds, on Saturday 28 
August at Oaklands Park Softball Field.
Players can enrol individually for a cost of £15, which includes a tournament team T-shirt. Players will then be assigned to teams on the day.
The club, which has had a youth fastpitch programme for several years under the leadership of David Morris, last ran a Junior Fastpitch Tournament in 2016 (the photos accompanying this article are from that tournament).
Since then, until the pandemic struck, the club had hosted a small international adult fastpitch tournament each August.
But with Covid regulations making international travel unlikely this year, the club has decided to go back to a domestic youth fastpitch tournament and is looking forward to welcoming players from around the country to Chichester at the end of the summer.
