The 2014 GB Slowpitch Open tournament has been scheduled for Saturday 3 May in Manchester. This tournament is designed as a fun event for the teams that take part but also to raise money for the GB Slowpitch Team and raise the team's profile in the softball community.
The tournament will take place at Parrs Wood Sports Centre in Manchester, home of the Manchester Softball League, and will have places for 16 B-grade and C-grade teams. The entry fee will be £125.
As with the very successful GB Slowpitch Open held in 2013, this year's tournament will feature
music, announcers, a raffle, hitting and throwing competitions, buy-backs, food and drink, GB player assistance for participating teams and coaching sessions delivered by GB players and coaches.
