Entries are now being accepted for the GB Slowpitch Open Tournament on Sunday 21 April at Farnham Park (home of the Diamond Softball Series) -- a fun tournament for B-grade and C-grade teams run by the GB Slowpitch Squad to raise money for upcoming competition trips.
The GB Slowpitch Team will be competing in European Slowpitch Championships in the Czech Republic in July, and will play in the ISF Slowpitch World Cup next January in Florida.
Tournament details
Sixteen places are available at the tournament, and the entry cost is £125 per team. As in previous years, the tournament will feature buy-backs available in all games, prizes for winners, hands-on coaching from GB Slowpitch Team coaches and sideshow competitions, including a home run derby, throwing and pitching competitions and more. Hot food and drinks will be available all day.
C-grade teams will receive a handicap when playing a B-grade team.
