The Double D International Softball Club is inviting British slowpitch teams to enter the 3rd annual Wooden Cleats International Slowpitch Championships, to be played on the weekend of 7-8 May in Nieuwegen in the Netherlands.
The tournament format allows up to eight men and two women to be on the field, but good teams playing 5:5 are welcome and can do well.
The tournament entry fee is 100 euros. The event will feature trophies for all teams, a Home Run Derby, a raffle and games for kids of all ages. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available at the field on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday, all at low prices.
