This year’s Bristol DD Cup Tournament, held on the weekend of 28-29 May at Clifton College Sports Ground, was attended by 10 teams: two from Jersey, two from Wales, one each from Coventry and Hampshire and four from Bristol.

A contingency plan for the expected thunder and lightning on Saturday didn’t need to be implemented, as the tournament enjoyed glorious sunshine.

True Care Medical provided first aid, and it was a good thing they were there: there were eight incidents that required their attention!
