One of Holland's leading softball and baseball clubs, Olympia Haarlem, is hosting a co-ed slowpitch tournament on the weekend of 23-24 July, and hopes to attract B and C-grade teams from the UK.

The club, which has great facilities, was the site of the first-ever Women's Fastpitch World Championship to be played in Europe in the summer of 2014.  But there is now a British connection at the club, with former BSUK and BSF employee Stan Doney working as the Head Coach for the club's senior women's fastpitch team, and Stan has now helped to organise the club's first co-ed slowpitch event.

The tournament will begin at 8.30 on Saturday morning, and after a full day's play there will be a Home Run Derby, a BBQ and a party.

On Sunday, the final will finish by 3.30 pm, to be followed by an Awards Ceremony, but with plenty of time for teams to then make the trip back to the UK.

The entry fee will be 150 euros per team.  As well as plenty of nearby hotels, there will be an option for teams to sleep at the club's indoor facility for a cost of 35 euros for two nights, including breakfast.
