BSF Tournaments Officer Liz Graham has sent initial application forms to BSF-affiliated leagues and their 2012 division winners for the 2013 Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze (PGSB) Co-ed National Championships, to be played on the weekend of 10-11 August at Farnham Park near Slough.

All 2012 league winners will have a guaranteed place in the PGSB Nationals until June 15 provided that forms and payment are received by that date – but after June 15, the competition will  be open to other teams and places can no longer be guaranteed.

Other teams in BSF leagues can apply to participate on a first-come first-served basis after June 15 providing there are spaces available at the level applied for.

Early organisation

The BSF is attempting to have all entries for the PGSB Nationals confirmed as early as possible to avoid a last-minute scramble to fill places – and a last-minute scramble by teams to find players who are available on the Nationals weekend.

Individual players can only qualify to play in the PGSB Nationals if they have played league games on five dates with their team between 1 August 2012 and 9 August 2013.  However, players who fall short of achieving qualification because of exceptional circumstances can apply to the BSF for dispensation.
